Types of courses available?
Andy is a New Zealand Mountain Safety Bush Instructor and runs the Queenstown Mountain Safety Council (MSC) Bush Program. The courses are both MSC and Duke of Edmond Hillary certified.
Adventure Walks runs courses for the MSC and the Deerstalkers Association on a regular basis over summer.

2 NIGHT 3 DAY OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CAMPS
Fun filled educational camps designed for active girls and boys aged 8-13 years of age running throughout the summer holiday period.
Camp costs include all educational outdoor activities, bush craft skills, accommodation, food and an opportunity to sleep in huts, tents or under the stars.

From 2 hour refreshers to 2 day full navigation practice and course
Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award
Adventure walks in conjuction with the Mountain Safety Council run the “Adventurous journey” part of the award.
Our guides (when not taking guests to the great outdoors) are fully qualified outdoor instructors and can teach you skills for the outdoors from river crossings, to general bush craft to map reading lessons.
