Guided Heli Hikes
We have something for everyone - Helihikes for all abilitiesWhat is included in a heli hike?
We offer heli hikes to see some of the best scenery in the South Island of New Zealand. We get off the beaten path and go where the average tourist can’t go. Flying in via helicopter means we land in some stunning wilderness areas and have the place to ourselves, but you have the added security of an experienced guide that is qualified and knows the area well.
Prices include fully guided trip and helicopter costs, lunch and snacks also included and transfers from your hotel. We have some trips departing departing Te Anau or Manapouri although if you are staying in Queenstown, transfers can be arranged at a small additional charge.
Each trip takes into account the expectations of the clients. We have longer walks for those with experience and short hikes for those limited on time or not used to bush walks.
We also offer custom guided walks – prices on application depending on group size – just enquire for more details

Departing from Queenstown, Manapouri or Te Anau, we helicopter from Te Anau high over Lake Manapouri and have views out over the Fiordland National Park including the famous Kepler Track and the Milford Track beyond.
This area is hard to access without a helicopter (or boat) so it is really rare to see another person in the area. The forest is temperate rainforest and stunningly green and lush.
